My practice is grounded in deep professional training, continuous peer oversight, and extensive hands-on experience:
Specialised Certification: ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP through PESI).
Client Experience: Over 850 hours (and counting) of 1:1 sessions specifically with neurodivergent clients.
Peer Supervision: Active member of a neurodiversity-specific peer supervision network, meeting 2–3 times a month to refine best practices.
Core Qualifications: ACCPH Level 3 Life Coach Diploma, NLP Master Practitioner, Counselling Skills (NCFE CACHE Level 2), and Advanced Yoga Teacher (IYN).
Ongoing Training: Currently completing Certified Unified Mindfulness Coach and Self-Realisation Meditation Retreat Leader programmes.
Traditional life coaching often relies on linear goal-setting, rigid discipline, and neurotypical expectations—approaches that frequently lead to burnout for neurodivergent individuals. My coaching is tailored specifically for non-typical brains, taking full account of AuDHD sensitivities, sensory needs, and unique cognitive styles.
Having clarity about wanting sustainable routines, project completion, and better trait management is the best place to start. While these are broad goals, they form the master framework for our work. Together, we use this framework to zoom in on the specific, day-to-day details—balancing the autistic need for predictability and structure with the ADHD need for novelty and stimulation so you can finish what you start without burning out.
We measure success using two key metrics:
Tangible Outcomes: Real-world, physical completion of the actions, projects, and systems you set out to build.
Internal Well-being: Your subjective experience—tracking noticeable improvements in your clarity, concentration, daily contentment, and overall sense of ease.
Yes. We approach impulsivity not as a flaw, but as your brain seeking what it naturally needs: dopamine, stimulation, or immediate sensory relief. We’ll explore how your brain gets genuine satisfaction and fulfilment both day-to-day and long-term.
While I do not provide medical advice regarding medication, many of my clients use medication as a helpful tool to establish new habits and life changes. As those non-medicinal support systems and habits take root, we can explore finding a balance that may allow you to discuss reducing or stopping medication with your prescriber.
This is a process I have personally navigated and guided many clients through.
Sessions are conversational, flexible, and structured around your present state:
Calibrate & Reflect: We start by grounding in the present moment, reviewing what worked over the past week and what didn’t.
Direction & Unpacking: We align on where you want to go, breaking down the specific friction points, options, and actions required.
Internal Alignment: We work through any internal blocks or self-critical chatter so you don’t accidentally sabotage your own progress.
There is no rigid or formal “homework”. Everything between sessions is self-led and flows naturally from what we discover together. The primary goal of coaching is finding what actually sticks for your brain in the real world. Any actions between calls will be practical, low-friction micro-experiments that you genuinely want to integrate into your life.
Yes, extensively. Creative, non-linear, and eccentric minds make up a huge part of my practice.
Before coaching full-time, I worked as an executive assistant for a fabulously eccentric best-selling author and business entrepreneur, and ran an award-winning business alongside my wife (who is also AuDHD).
Within my coaching practice, I’ve worked with orchestra musicians, crypto founders, and inventors.
I also frequently experience a lot of my clients reconnecting with their creativity and passion for life.
You are always in control of your journey, and I will never force you to show up.
However, I usually recommend committing to a minimum of 6 sessions before evaluating whether to continue.
Growth naturally introduces friction into your current status quo. Stepping out of comfortable patterns—even uncomfortable ones you are used to—can trigger an impulse to retreat to the familiar.
Part of my role is helping you safely expand your comfort zone so you can accomplish more with less stress, which often involves navigating a brief period of awkward adjustment during the early sessions.

“Ben is simply excellent!! Having been there, (with ADHD ), he has an empathy and way about him that gives him total credibility. I was made to feel instantly at ease, and in no time at all I realised that there is nothing fundamentally wrong with me.
I feel more energised and focused on me as a person, and not getting bogged down with constantly worrying what other people thought of me. Ben will make you believe more in yourself whilst helping you realise your worth to others. I 100% recommend Ben to anyone.”
